Just imagine if gene therapy enabled all of we Americans to live until 150. This would mean FICA retirement benefits would have to be adjusted to not begin until the age of 130. Seriously!

Thanks but no thanks, but since my quantum multidimensional soul-spirit (my consciousness) is Born Again and has a ticket to Heaven, I still would rather check-out early to escape this worldly life which God intended to be only a test and only temporary. If you have doubts of the latter, then your consciousness/soul is in definitive peril. To assuage your plight, may I thus suggest studying Romans 10:9-13. Seriously!

I'm sure RFK Jr. will do everything in his power to block gene therapy.

As long as the genomic and molecular domains training data remain free of hallucination and AI systems sufficiently improve their 'perception' of physical and biological reality, optimized genetic treatments like this might eventually be within our reach.

What will we do with 8 billion optimized humans? Alternatively, not confident that 8 billion will be the number?

Sadly, the cost of this approach will probably only be available to the rich!

Yes, at first. As with most things, the rich get the first chance. Just look at the "passengers" taking rides into space for an example. But, over time, prices will come down, and availability for the masses will improve. After startup costs are recovered, companies can make more money selling a ten dollar item to millions of people than selling a million dollar item to ten people.

LOL! It hasn't worked this way for a whole lot of medical technology... But I'm still waiting.

I would do anything to be apart of this!
