And sadly, it's still the same today; we have not evolved since the time of the Mongols. There are still leaders in our modern world who have big egos. Some of them would not hesitate to harm other countries one way or the other because of a perceived lack of personal respect.

You’re talking about the male DNA, which has always been & remains an insoluble problem that will end the human race.

Why not show the respect to each other?

Though hardly the only people of their time to do so, it's worth noting the Mongols were well known for using merchants and other travelers in various disguises to venture far and wide to gather useful information about neighboring lands, rulers and their military capabilities. That didn't necessarily mean the Mongols were gathering or using that information to plan for conquests. The primary objective was to inform foreign relations and diplomacy.

Kind of reminds me of Michael Jordan, “…and I took that personally.”

But instead of just scoring 69 points against a rival team, Genghis Khan destroyed an empire.

I have mixed emotions about the Mongols and Khans and also the hakkus. But just imagine if we didnt have this population control. Millions of people died. If they were left alive, Islam would be the major religion (which I dont care one way or the other. I take the best morals from all world religions), and humans would probably be more overly populated and to the brink of extinction, which we almost already are....

Relating to today, we still have major tyrants ruling the world as we speak, names Im not providing, but still being driven by cause and effect and egos. We will never know the truth as humans history is probably manipulated to adhere to certain beliefs and ideologies.

Great read, thanks.
